Handicraft offers a program where a Scout can produce something that he is proud of and take it home to his parents. Or he could be involved in an important painting project that he can come back and see in future years. Make your own neckerchief slide out of leather or wood. Try your hand at basketry. Make a knife sheath for your belt and tool a beautiful design into it. Learn to braid lanyards. The Handicraft merit badges offer a good opportunity for younger scouts to start earning merit badges and get their advancement past First Class underway. Come to the shelter and show off your artistic skill!

1. Merit Badges

Collections is the only Handicraft merit badge with prerequisite requirements, However it is still suggested that the Scouts review the merit badge pamphlets prior to arriving.

Our Handicraft shelter is a active place. Many first year campers will enjoy working with the enthusiastic staff after the finish their Foothills of the Frontier programs. These Merit Badges are a great way to get scouts excited about earning merit badges.
