New Programs Introduced¶

Year Summary¶

Sometimes referred to as the "black" year because most of the camp's administration was radically changed by the council executive. Chris"Skids" Boyd, Waterfront Area Director was tapped as the successor to Staff_Richards_Brent as the camp director for the summer of 1991. Chris resigned after Dick Horn rejected his proposed administrative team.

For the first time in camp history, the council executive hired an "outside" camp director and program director. Dave Bender, of Indiana, was hired as camp director and he brought Brent Crawford as his program director, unknown staff member as his waterfront area director and Orbie Lightfood as the shooting sports/rifle range area director.
