Troop 5 has been in Chillicothe, Ohio since 1950 and has been at Chief Logan Reservation every year of its existence and before Chief Logan was an active troop at Camp Mingo. The troop's size has changed throughout the years, but has consistently created Eagle Scouts and been involved in community service. The troop is based out of First Presbyterian Church off Belleview Ave. During some of the bigger days of the troop sometimes more than 50 scouts would go to camp and the troop took major trips to places such as Australia.
